Perpetual Competition Terms & Conditions

Legal terms governing participation in Perpetual competitive events, seasonal ladders, and leaderboard-based prize programs.

1. Nature of the Event

Perpetual competitions are skill-based events that reward top performers based on gameplay performance, merit, and leaderboard ranking.

• No element of chance: Rankings are determined by player skill and performance
• No rewards for token holding: Simply possessing tokens does not grant prizes
• Skill determines outcome: Prizes awarded based on leaderboard position earned through gameplay

2. Access Requirement

Participating wallets must meet the following requirements to access ranked competitions:

Requirements:

• Hold PERP tokens — General ecosystem membership
• Lock required tier amount in a self-controlled Streamflow contract or approved non-custodial time-lock, solely to validate commitment

Critical Clarification

Perpetual does NOT control these tokens, time-locks, or contracts. Users maintain full custody at all times. The lock verification is purely for eligibility, not financial gain.

3. No Earnings From Token Lock

Perpetual does NOT provide any financial benefits for locking tokens.

Perpetual Does NOT:

• Provide interest, yield, or financial return for locking
• Custody user tokens
• Provide staking, lending, or deposit programs
• Guarantee any financial outcomes or returns
• Offer passive income opportunities

Locking tokens is NOT an investment activity and offers NO monetary benefit from Perpetual. It is solely a commitment verification mechanism to access skill-based competitions.

Third-Party Services

Any rewards, interest, or yield offered by third-party lock/staking services (such as Streamflow) are completely separate from Perpetual's competition system. Perpetual is NOT affiliated with these services and does not promote or benefit from their offerings.

4. Prize Pool Funding

All prizes are sponsor-funded only.

Prize Pool Structure:

• Sponsor-funded: All prizes come from third-party sponsors who support the ecosystem
• Distributed from sponsor-allocated pools: Prizes are drawn from sponsor contributions only
• NOT derived from user funds: User deposits, locks, or holdings do NOT fund prize pools
• Monthly reset: Prize pools refresh each month per badge tier

Critical Policy:

Users NEVER contribute to prize pools. Badge holders are PROHIBITED from sponsoring or contributing to their own tier's prize pool to maintain competitive integrity.

5. Gameplay & Scoring

Rewards are based solely on competitive performance.

Scoring Criteria:

• Player performance: In-game actions and achievements
• Earned PERP Points: Points accumulated through gameplay
• XP accumulation: Experience gained through daily practices, rituals, and quests
• Leaderboard ranking: Position achieved through consistent performance

Token holdings do NOT influence rewards, rankings, or outcomes. Competition results are based 100% on skill and performance.

Monthly Reset Structure:

Leaderboard standings reset monthly, but PERP Points and XP continue to accumulate permanently. This ensures fair competition each season while preserving long-term progress.

6. Eligibility Compliance

You may be disqualified if you:

Attempt to manipulate token locks or bypass eligibility requirements
Use bots, automation, exploits, or cheating systems
Engage in prohibited conduct or market manipulation
Violate anti-cheat policies or terms of service
Attempt to game the system or exploit vulnerabilities
Provide false information or impersonate others

Enforcement:

We reserve the right to suspend, ban, or remove participants found violating these terms. PERP Points may be forfeited, and access to competitions may be permanently revoked.

7. No Financial Advice

• NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE: Participation is voluntary and not investment advice
• NO PROMISES: We make no guarantees about outcomes, rewards, or token value
• EXTREME RISK: Cryptocurrency carries significant risk, including total loss
• NOT AN INVESTMENT: This is a skill-based competition system, not an investment program
• USER RESPONSIBILITY: You are solely responsible for your financial decisions

8. Amendments

Perpetual may update these terms periodically to reflect changes in competition structure, legal requirements, or operational needs.

Amendment Process:

• Changes will be posted to this page with an updated "Last Updated" date
• Material changes may be announced via website banner or social media
• Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance
• Users are responsible for reviewing terms periodically

9. Regulatory Alignment

This system is designed to function as a competition access system, not a financial product.

This System IS:

• A competition access verification system
• A commitment-verification method
• A skill-based reward competition
• A sponsor-funded prize distribution system

This System is NOT:

• An investment program or security offering
• A staking or yield farming service
• A lottery, sweepstakes, or gambling activity
• A pool-based reward program
• A financial product or investment vehicle

10. Limitation of Liability

Important Legal Notice:

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PERPETUAL AND ITS TEAM MEMBERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM PARTICIPATION IN COMPETITIONS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF TOKENS, LOSS OF PRIZES, OR INABILITY TO PARTICIPATE.

Competitions are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or specific outcomes.

Third-Party Services: We are not responsible for the functionality, security, or terms of third-party services (Streamflow, wallets, blockchain networks) used in connection with competitions.

Acceptance of Terms

By entering a Perpetual competition, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Competition Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not participate in competitions.
